At least one THNer has already seen Ben Stiller’s remake of the Danny Kaye classic THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, but was sadly unimpressed. Still, its all about opinions and many have also suggested it could feature during the upcoming awards season.
Stiller stars and directs the modernised update of James Thurber’s classic story of a day-dreamer who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasies filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job along with that of his co-worker are threatened, Walter takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey to seek a missing photograph. It then turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined.
Here we have a brand new six minute(!) trailer and couple of new French posters from the film arriving in the US on the 25th December and the UK from Boxing Day.
