A UK trailer, as well as brand new international footage, has arrived for Warner Bros.’ epic sequel 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE. The film, is follow-up to Zack Snyder’s visually-stunning action-adventure based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller which starred Gerard Butler. It’s a side-quel to 2006 sleeper smash centring on the Spartan army that made a mockery of the swarming Persian army led by the hulking Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro).
This time around, we’re rooting for Greek General Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) giving another perspective of the events, as he defends his country from the foreign onslaught of Xerxes’ devious Navy commander, Artemisia (Eva Green).
Directed by Noam Murro and written by Zack Snyder and Kurt Johnstad, 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE is released in cinemas 7th March 2014 release also stars
