I didn’t see the last THE HOBBIT film in cinemas, but if there’s anything that is sure to get me back into the big screen it’s a GODZILLA trailer. It seems as though THE HOBBIT: DESOLATION OF SMAUG is set to be the big trailer reveal, as it has already been confirmed by Warner Bros. that Christopher Nolan’s INTERSTELLAR will premiere its trailer before the latest journey to Middle-Earth,. GODZILLA is the second attempt by an American studio to reboot and adapt the gigantic Japanese lizard.
But that’s not all, as the Doug Liman directed Tom Cruise vehicle, EDGE OF TOMORROW, previously known by (in my opinion) the superior title ALL YOU NEED IS KILL, will also showcase its trailer before Peter Jackson’s latest. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will also have a trailer in front of the Christmas season’s biggest film, but that will also be released online later today.
THE HOBBIT: DESOLATION OF SMAUG is released on 13th December. GODZILLA arrives on 16th May and EDGE OF TOMORROW hits cinemas on 30th May.
