First Stills From Matt Smith’s ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas Farewell

Okay, so the headline is basically underselling the biggest moment in Doctor Who in terms of changes currently and no, I’m not forgetting ‘Day of the Doctor‘ – Was there any coverage for that one..?

This Christmas special is ‘The Time of The Doctor’ and it’s sadly seeing the end and saying farewell to the magnificent Matt Smith and hopefully we’ll also get a few minutes or so of Peter Capaldi, as the 12th/13th Doctor [delete as applicable after the episode].

If these images are anything to go by, this welcome of the new and wave to the past episode will feature some wooden-looking Cyberman, Daleks, Jenna Coleman, snow, something to do with the military and – guessing from the trailer – The Silence plus probably everything, ever. It will be massive, it’ll surely be brilliant and there will definitely be a lot of sad souls across the country after it has finished but…on with the new and let’s still enjoy his one final fling!

Haha! That Moffat, I swear he says something different every time AND I do think we’ll find out in the Christmas special what’s real and what happened. Maybe.
