Sources are reporting that one of the UK’s rising talents Jack O’Connell is reportedly in very heavy talks with J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm for a part in the planned sequel in the STAR WARS series. Bleeding Cool report the news that the former Skins, HARRY BROWN and TOWER BLOCK star is a real contender for a key role in STAR WARS EPISODE VII, and has already met with Abrams.
Of course, no word on what that role will be, but O’Connell is a great talent and was superb in the little known British horror EDEN LAKE (catch it if you can). Expect him to feature prominently in 2014 as he will be seen in 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE in March and Angelina Jolie’s STARRED UP later in the year.
