Brand New Trailer For ‘Doctor Who: The Time Of The Doctor’

Exactly two weeks away from Christmas and it seems Whovians aren’t sure whether to be excited or sad that the day is edging ever closer… for it will herald the final episode that Matt Smith will star in Doctor Who.

The Time Of The Doctor will mark Smith’s final appearance in the show before his character ‘regenerates’ into the next incarnation of The Doctor played by The Thick Of It star Peter Capaldi. After the iconic sci-fi celebrated its 50th anniversary with such a fantastic episode that captivated the entire world last month, the BBC and show runner Steven Moffat still have one more treat in store for this milestone year.

With only a short time to wait now, a brand new trailer has been released for the festive episode, which looks like it will end Matt Smith’s era in style. Although the world will have to say goodbye to the beloved eleventh Doctor, it looks as if the episode will be one of the best we have ever seen with plenty of action and monsters on display such as the Daleks, Cybermen and Weeping Angels.
