It’s times like this we wish Curtis was still around so we could turn back time…but sadly, MISFITS is officially at its end. It was a fun ride wasn’t it? We laughed, we cried, and you better believe that the series is heading out with a huge bang! Hardcore fans will definitely not be disappointed with what Howard Overman and the gang have in store.
If you have not been following MISFITS series five, we have had future knitting grannies, Satanic club scouts and we’ve even had the handsome barman Alex shagging the powers out of everybody, it has been an eventful one! But all of those key loose ends finally come to the forefront in the finale.
What makes it go out with such a bang? Well…to put it bluntly, everything. The cast is absolutely phenomenal in the finale, with their comedic timing being spot on more than ever. A performance that really tugs on your heartstrings comes in the form of Karla Crome, who finally knocks down Jess’s stubborn wall and shows a bit of vulnerability.
And we’re sure the big question on everybody’s lips is – do they actually get to become superheroes in the end? Well that would be telling of course! You’ll just have to watch the episode.
But we’d like to say thank you MISFITS for the last four years, you have been an absolute pleasure to watch and we’re going to miss you.
