New horror flick LAZARUS has been set a release date of 30th January 2015 (that’s US 49th Super Bowl weekend). It stars Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, Donald Glover, Evan Peters and Sarah Bolger. Jason Blum, who worked with INSIDIOUS and PARANORMAL ACTIVITY franchises, is producing, which should give the film some horror kudos.
The project, directed by David Gelb and written by Luke Dawson and Jeremy Slater, centres around a group of research students who are studying human brain activity. Things take a darker turn when they accidentally kill one of their group.
The film’s previous title was REAWAKENING, so we imagine there’s definitely going to be a return from the other side… and the team are going to have a battle on their hands to contain their former buddy.
