Traumatic First Trailer & Poster For ‘Pudsey: The Movie’

Simon Cowell continues to have his hands in more pies than a Premier League footballer. He’s the brains behind this “masterpiece” giving Britain’s Got Talent pooch Pudsey his very own movie. I’ve never seen the show or even heard of said shaggy canine (in fact, I thought the name was copyrighted by BBC’s Children In Need) but my research claims Pudsey triumphantly danced his way to victory on the 2012 season of the talent contest and into the hearts of the British public. I obviously appear to have a heart of stone.

Here we have the first chilling trailer for the film seeing London stray dog Pudsey adopted by siblings Molly, George and Tommy. When Mum Gail (played by Jessica Hynes) decides to move to the village of Chuffington-on-Sea, poor Pudsey finds himself up against evil landlord Mr Thorne (John Sessions) and his cat Faustus.

Do yourself a favour. If the kids ask to see PUDSEY: THE MOVIE, have ’em adopted! Adding to the misery is the annoying David Walliams being paid to voice the pooch.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
