Hey Florida, how’s it going? Things are rather predictable down in the Sunshine State, with the usual quartet taking the acting honours, BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR winning Best Foreign Film, and HER and 12 YEARS A SLAVE topping their respective screenplay categories. FROZEN and THE ACT OF KILLING are also rewarded, with Lupita Nyong’o adding to 12 YEARS A SLAVE’s six wins by receiving the FFCC’s Breakout Award.
