Check out a medium-sized quality look at the first image released from the upcoming adaptation of John Green’s novel THE FAULT IN OUR STARS.
Directed by John Boone, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS follows the story of two teenagers named Augustus Waters (Ansel Elgort) and Hazel Lancaster (Shailene Woodley) as they meet and fall in love at a cancer support group. The screenplay is written by (500) DAYS OF SUMMER duo Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.
We see Gus and Hazel sat on a bench in Amsterdam. In case you haven’t read the book, the characters visit Amsterdam to meet Hazel’s favourite author Peter Van Houten (played Willem Dafoe). The film was shot on location in Amsterdam back in October.
At least these images are preparing us for all the emotion we’re gonna feel when the film is released in June.
