With 11 BAFTA nominations, I’m very glad to say that GRAVITY is set to return to the IMAX in the UK after some overwhelming demand from cinemagoers. Alfonso Cuarón’s spectacular sci-fi thriller starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney is considered by critics and the public alike as one of the best films of 2013 after having all of them on the edge of their seats since opening in October of last year.
The film has also become the highest-grossing IMAX release of 2013 in the UK and worldwide and is so far the seventh biggest IMAX release of all time over here. GRAVITY is also dominating awards season, as well as the aforementioned BAFTAs, they’ve also been nominated for four Golden Globes.
