Sundance 2014 is now under way, and we’ve already got our first trailer – hurrah!
Here’s a trailer that will sure get the tongues waggling – Alex Ross Perry’s LISTEN UP PHILIP. The film follows Philip (Jason Schwartzman) as he awaits the release of his second novel. Philip is starting to feel pushed out of his current city, following the downfall of his relationship with his girlfriend (Elisabeth Moss) and even his own indifferences to promote his book. It’s not until Philip meets his idol Ike Zimmerman (Jonathan Pryce), who offers his isolated summer home as a refuge, that he finally gets the peace and quiet to focus on his favourite subject — himself.
LISTEN UP PHILIP has a stellar line up of Schwartzman, Moss and Pryce. Krysten Ritter and Josephine de La Baume also star in the flick. All five are expected to attend the Sundance premiere of the film this Monday.
