Hannibal Season 2 Full Trailer: Watch Here

January is a tough month. Not only do we have to deal with the post-Christmas blues, and the longer than usual wait for pay day, but we also have to contend with a distinct lack of good television. February, however, sees all that change, as it’s time for new seasons of shows like The Following and Hannibal to start up. Hannibal aired its first series last year and was met with a hugely receptive response.

Set before the events of MANHUNTER, the series saw Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) called in to aid the FBI (lead by Laurence Fishburne), in their investigation of a string of brutal, cannibalistic murders. Also on-board to help Graham was psychiatrist Doctor Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen), the very man the team were unknowingly searching for. The show was extremely dark in content, showcasing some very imaginative set pieces (how about if I mention the words ‘totem-pole’ and ‘angels’?). As well as starring the fantastic trio of Dancy, Fishburne, and Mikkelsen, the show had excellent support from the likes of Gillian Anderson and Eddie Izzard.

The wait for season two is almost over, and after last week’s promo and poster comes a full-length trailer for the next chapter of the NBC programme. Viewers yet to see all of the first series be warned, as the trailer does contain spoilers. For the rest of you sit back and enjoy:

Hannibal will air in the US on NBC from 28th February, with a UK date still TBC.
