Following yesterday’s release of the first TV spot for Paul W. S. Anderson’s (RESIDENT EVIL) POMPEII comes a brand new international poster for the dramatic ‘historical’ epic.
Starring Kit Harrington, Emily Browning, Carrie-Ann Moss, Kiefer Sutherland, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica Lucas and Jared Harris, the film tells the tale of a slave-turned-gladiator sent on a quest to save his true love, all before the giant Mount Vesuvius erupts (by the looks of it it already has). Sounds like an adventure, right? Well, if this obviously Photoshopped poster is anything to go by, it’ll be special effects and green screen from beginning to explosive end. I wonder if the unusual mix of GLADIATOR and 2012 will pay off…
POMPEII will explode into US cinemas from 21st February 2014, followed by the UK from 2nd May.
