It is not only the football fans that get to enjoy the splendour of the Superbowl. America’s number one sports event is also known as the night of movie trailer premieres. Looking at the release list for 2014, there were many blockbusters that fit the bill. However, the final list has now been revealed and holds some surprises.
The films getting commercials during this year’s Superbowl XLVIII on Sunday, February 2 are:

Although rumored to be on the list, GODZILLA and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY will not be appearing on Superbowl night. There are also rumors that DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST will appear, though neither has been confirmed.
This fun list of trailer premieres is sure to tickle the fancy of any movie fan, not only becuase it includes some of 2014’s most anticipated blockbusters, but also because of the amount of never-before-seen footage included in the trailers. Seeing as studios spend millions of dollars to debut their commercials during the Superbowl, we can be sure that each and every single one will be aiming for the biggest wow-factor of the night.
