There’s a lot of hope for CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and especially after I didn’t really ‘feel’ the first one but then THE AVENGERS came along and Cap was regimental in making things happen with a great performance from Chris Evans – read him talking about the character here!
The first trailer we saw was also quite epic and now we’ve got these first character posters for the return of the American hero which show us Chris Evans as Steve ‘Captain America’ Rogers, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha ‘Black Widow’ Romanoff and a nice bit of Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury. Bring it on!
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER opens on March 26th in the UK and April 6th in the USA. It’s directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo and stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Cobie Smulders, Frank Grillo, Emily VanCamp, Hayley Atwell with Robert Redford as Alexander Pierce and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
