Based on Frank Miller’s Graphic Novel ‘Xerxes’, the film carries on from the events of 300 with Eva Green stepping into her sea boots as the vengeful Persian admiral Artemesia. Standing against her is general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) who leads the last ragged band of spartans in a seemingly un-winable battle for the very survival of tiny Greece.
Rodrigo Santoro will reprise his role as the God-King Xerxes along with Lena Headey, who’s back in her spartan crown to whisper in the impressionable ears of another doomed soldier.
