Rebecca Hall To Star With Jason Sudeikis In ‘Tumbledown’

Rebecca Hall

English actress Rebecca Hall is set to star in the romantic comedy TUMBLEDOWN opposite WE’RE THE MILLERS star Jason Sudeikis. Directed by Sean Mewshaw and written by Desi Van Til, the film is going to be handled internationally by independent film company Sierra/Affinity, who will launch at Berlin’s upcoming European Film Market.

TUMBLEDOWN follows the story of a young widow (Hall) who is having a hard time moving on after the death of her husband, an acclaimed musician. Struggling to write his biography, she teams up with a brash New York academic (Sudeikis), who has a very different view on her late husband’s life and death, but helps her make the biography a reality.

MEET THE PARENTS actress Blythe Danner and SPIDER-MAN star Joe Manganiello will also star in the romantic comedy, which is set to start production in late March.

Speaking of Hall’s talent, producers Kristin Hahn and Aaron L. Gilbert felt like they had “won the lottery” when Rebecca Hall joined the cast, they had this to say:

“She brings such soulfulness to everything she does and when we imagine her incredible wit paired with the genius of Sudeikis and the enormous talent of our supporting cast, it gives us goose bumps that we can’t wait to transfer to the screen.”

Well if that’s the case, we at The Hollywood News can’t wait to feel those goose bumps when we are seating at the movies watching TUMBLEDOWN.
