Scorsese Casts Liam Neeson In ‘Silence’

If you’re desperately waiting for Liam Neeson to move away from generic action thrillers, 2014 looks like it could be off to a promising start.

After the massive success of THE WOLF OF WALL STREET, Martin Scorsese is finally turning his attention to long-anticipated passion project, SILENCE. Having not worked with the director since 2002’s GANGS OF NEW YORK, SILENCE will team Neeson with Andrew Garfield, rising star Adam Driver and BATMAN BEGINS co-star, Ken Watanabe. Based on Shûsaku Endô’s novel, it follows the tale of two 17th century Jesuit priests hoping to bring Christianity to an area in Japan where Catholicism is banned. Though there’s currently no news on what the actor’s role will be, Scorsese will have to finish up his currently untitled Bill Clinton documentary before the cameras start rolling on his next historical venture.

As for Neeson, he’s not done with his action star status just yet, with TAKEN 3 announced and NON-STOP due out next month. He is also set to star in Seth MacFarlane’s ensemble Western, A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST, before reteaming with UNKNOWN and NON-STOP director Jaume Collet-Serra for RUN ALL NIGHT.

Meanwhile, as the Globalist MAFIA usurpration ramps,
DeNiro’s looking like a dead ringer for Soviet heavy —-STALIN.

While Scorsese’s –NEVER— been able to pull off depth,

Scorsese might be the man to take on —STALIN!
