Disney’s ‘Planes: Fire And Rescue’ Trailer Takes Off

Disney’s forthcoming 3D sequel to 2013’s lacklustre PLANES and spin-off from CARS is now doing the rounds. PLANES: FIRE AND RESCUE will explore the world of aerial fire fighting at Piston Peak Natural Park.

Crop circling plane, Dusty Crophopper (Dane Cook), is looking for a new career after his engine is damaged, and protecting nature from wildfire has that alluring mix of danger, glamour and public spirit.  Julie Bowen will also be lending her voice to the cast as Lil Dipper.

The trailer features the beginning of Dusty’s journey in becoming a fire fighting machine, plus some impressive aerial views and computer animation. It’s all accompanied by a radio friendly track. Disney will no doubt be hoping this new venture appeals to children and adults alike.
