After running into some problems after production finished, it looked like ODD THOMAS would never see release. However, a full trailer has finally been posted for the long-awaited fan favourite.
Directed by Stephen Sommers (THE MUMMY) from Dean Koontz’s best-seller, Anton Yelchin stars as Odd Thomas, small-time cook…who can see the dead – everywhere. So far, so THE SIXTH SENSE. However, Odd uses his supernatural power to help solve (and prevent) crimes, alongside girlfriend Stormy (Addison Timlin).
Co-starring Willem Dafoe and a tonne of CGI bubble-like ghosts, I’m not really sure about this one. I like the premise but the trailer doesn’t do the film any justice, especially with the stiff dialogue.
Although released in several foreign countries last summer, no word as-of-yet of a UK or US date. We’ll keep you posted.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
