We all know Warner Bros. has moved BATMAN VS SUPERMAN to May 6 2016. But the mystery about which unknown Marvel feature is pencilled in for the same release date may have been cleared up.
According to JoBlo, rather than CAPTAIN AMERICA 3 or THOR 3, audiences could be choosing between BATMAN VS SUPERMAN and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2.
While it’s only speculation at the moment (and you could say a little premature, seeing as the first instalment isn’t released till August this year), the rumoured development of the Guardians of the Galaxy animated series adds further weight. We’re looking at Autumn 2015 for its debut on Disney XD, leading Marvel’s Phase 2 neatly into Phase 3.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, directed by James Gunn, is released August 1. It stars Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel and Karen Gillan.
