2014 is set to be a cracking year for television. Currently screening is the second season of The Following, later in the year we have the Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson starring True Detective, the second season of Hannibal and this little belter coming in May from Sam Mendes, Penny Dreadful. John Logan serves as screenwriter and executive producer of this exciting thriller from Showtime.
The story will incorporate some of the most iconic figures from classic fiction, including Frankenstein, Dracula and Dorian Gray, all set against the backdrop of Victorian London.
Eva Green, Josh Hartnett, Billie Piper, Rory Kinnear, and Timothy Dalton star in the show, which hits US TV on May 11th, 2014 at 10pm.
