It’s not often we comment on the seedy world of celebrity sex tapes, but when we heard there was one of Jason Segel and Cameron Diaz coming up for release…Oh, we’ve just been told the BAD TEACHER co-stars are reuniting in a fictitious film called SEX TAPE. That’s better then. Still, the comedy duo certainly made me laugh aplenty in their last film together so this could still be worth a watch.
The first released image sees Segel trying to remove roller skates from Diaz’s feet. After spicing up their sex-life with their homemade shenanigans, the tape inevitably falls into the wrong hands and it’s up to the couple to retrieve it. Simple premise, two funny leads with a proven chemistry between them, and lead by BAD TEACHER director Jake Kasdan, son of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK scribe, Lawrence Kasdan, this should be something worth few chuckles at least.
SEX TAPE is released on the 25th July in the US and on the 5th September in the UK. It stars Jason Segel, Cameron Diaz, Jack Black, Rob Corddry, Ellie Kemper, and Rob Lowe.
