Like them or not you can’t argue with the genius marketing skills of the mega multi-media machine that is Marvel Studios. After an incredibly successful ‘Phase one’ of films culminated with THE AVENGERS, Marvel have not only began ‘phase two’ but have also branched out into the world of television.
AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D may not be as fantastic as people expected, but it is great for its special guest appearances such as Cobie Smulders, Samuel L. Jackson, Stan Lee and now Jaimie Alexander. Alexander will be reprising her role as Lady Sif from both THOR and THOR: THE DARK WORLD for the 15th episode of Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. If an appearance from the lovely Jaimie Alexander isn’t enough to re-ignite interest in the quickly falling show, then I don’t know what is. Either way it certainly looks as if AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D is improving with Lady Sif, and also a promised tie-in to the events of the upcoming CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER later on in the season.
