Last weekend saw the mighty Pixar grace the even more mighty Royal Albert Hall as they hosted a live concert with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra performing alongside stunning footage from all 13 Pixar films with live scores being fully brought to life. They managed to put another tremendous show and we’ve got the best of the feedback of those who attended!
The Royal Albert Hall continues to put on unique events across the year, it’s also just been announced that THE GODFATHER Live is part of the Hall’s ongoing series presenting cinematic landmarks with live orchestral accompaniment. Future events include the UK premieres of GLADIATOR and J. J. Abrams’ STAR TREK and STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, as well as the legendary 1961 musical WEST SIDE STORY (and previously SINGING’ IN THE RAIN), and a repeat performance of last year’s world premiere celebrating the work of composer Danny Elfman in the films of Tim Burton – which last year was magnificent!
