Pens down, ladies and gentlemen, as the biggest night of the film calendar is finally here. Yes, it’s sort of like Christmas when you know half your presents already, but that doesn’t stop us getting stupidly excited about the Oscars. For those committed folk who will be seeing the ceremony through to the bitter end, be sure to follow us on Twitter (here) where myself, Paul Heath and Dave Bennett will be delivering a tag team live blog thanks to the fab team over at Sky Movies.
So, all that’s left is for us to sign our lives away in the form of these last-ditch predictions and let Ellen host the 86th Annual Hunger Games Academy Awards. If things play out without too many surprises we reckon there’s only two or three we are in danger of dropping, so if you haven’t already put your life savings on GRAVITY sweeping the technical fields, now’s your chance.
See you after another round (or ten) of Shot Scorsese.
