The marketing campaign for the upcoming AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 has really accelerated over the past couple of months with countless trailers, stills and posters being released on a (practically) daily basis. So far all of the promotional material seen for the film looks incredible and certainly seems to have improved on the criticisms of the original (cough cough…gold eyed costume). If all of that was not enough to get you excited about Andrew Garfield’s second outing as the worlds most famous wall-crawler, then Marvel and Sony Pictures Entertainment have yet another poster for you.
While posters so far for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 have focussed on the multiple antagonists Peter Parker will be facing, this brand new one sheet simply shows off the title characters amazing abilities (see what I did there?). You can see the beautiful new poster below:
As you can see, the poster effectively displays Spider-Man’s incredible wall crawling abilities in an effective and visually creative manner for what is easily the best piece of marketing the film has seen so far. It also fails to showcase any of the villains that will be seen in the film, but merely hints at the larger threat of Oscorp Industries. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will be released in the UK on 18th April and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field and Chris Cooper.
