Yes…you saw right. That’s John Constantine.
So NBC’s pilot for Constantine is picking up speed. After news that Matt Ryan will be playing the chain-smoking sorcerer, David S. Goyer, Daniel Cerone, Neil Marshall and their team have revealed how John Constantine will look.
We’re quite impressed so far, and we reckon Hellblazer fans should be too. John looks suitably cynical and cocky and his tie looks just about sloppy enough. And that’s cigarette smoke floating round him, right? Of course, no actual cigarette. I mean, this is 2014 and everyone smokes those electronic cigarettes now don’t they?
A good effort so far. What else could a Hellblazer devotee want? Well, apart from hard-hitting story lines, fantastic acting and a decent script… Time will tell.
