You Will Survive With Nigel The Cockatoo In Final Trailer For ‘Rio 2’

Sure RIO 2 may target a younger audience but its brightness and silliness will surely bring a smile to any hardened heart and we’ve got the final trailer to get you in a bright, colourful mood!

Learning his rhyming talent with Flight of the Conchords, Jemaine Clement takes centre-stage here as Nigel the Cockatoo having a go at the classic ‘I Will Survive‘ but with a definite modern twist. Here’s what to expect from the sequel to, oh you know what it was, RIO!

It’s a jungle out there for Blu (voiced by Jesse Eisenberg), Jewel (Anne Hathaway) and their three kids after they’re hurtled Rio de Janeiro to the wilds of the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in, he goes beak-to-beak with the vengeful Nigel, and meets the most fearsome adversary of all: his father-in-law.
