Newcomer Jack Stanley To Write ‘Chronicle 2’

Chronicle 800x600

We reported back in July that Max Landis had left CHRONICLE 2. But now it looks like Fox has landed a brand new writer, and the choice of screenwriter might come to a surprise for some!

It has been revealed that Jack Stanley, who has no credits to his name, is set to take over writing duties following Landis’ departure. Despite Stanley having no credits to his name, he has been catching the attention of Hollywood big wigs as his script Sweetheart made it onto 2013’s Blacklist.

When CHRONICLE was originally released back in 2012, newcomer Josh Trank took on directing duties and it helped launch his career. Trank is now set to direct the FANTASTIC FOUR reboot (Lets hope it does the same thing for Stanley!)

CHRONICLE follows the story of three teenagers who get super powers after encountering a strange object. The first movie Dane Dehaan, Michael B. Jordan, Alex Russell and Michael Kelly.
