Dare I say it? Okay then…it’s not TV, it’s HBO and the new series Silicon Valley looks set to continue that unique – and deserved – motto as it brings us something new every time. As always the US will be getting this series first – it starts on HBO this April 6th at 10pm – and on Sky Atlantic in July, although all we’ve got is these little teasers of trailers and listening to reaction this Sunday evening in the States but soon!
The series is created by Mike Judge, who you’ll know for OFFICE SPACE, Beavis & Butthead and King of the Hill and has a top cast in the shape of Thomas Middleditch, TJ Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Josh Brener, Christopher Evan Welch and Amanda Crew.
The show is partially inspired by Judge’s own experiences as a Silicon Valley engineer in the late ‘80s, and goes with the official synopsis saying:
In the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success.
