Given the relative success of recent superhero spinoffs it’s no wonder THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN is getting its own in the form of THE SINISTER SIX, which has now almost got itself Drew Goddard as director, famed for directing THE CABIN IN THE WOODS and CLOVERFIELD.
The SINISTER SIX currently has no release date yet but it’s thought it’s being set up to follow THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3 in June 2016. Goddard won’t be a stranger to the Marvel series though, as he’s also writing and directing the first episode of the upcoming Netflix series ‘Daredevil’.
While we’re waiting though, you’ve got THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 that’s released in the UK on April 16th.
