We’ve just received the first teaser trailers for this young adult-based Lionsgate movie, LOVE, ROSIE.
Now, I don’t know everything about this but it’s based on the novel Where Rainbows End by Cecelia Ahern, who also wrote PS, I Love You. This first look focuses on a whole lot of embarrassment for Sam Clafin’s Alex as it centres around the moments of his trying to lose his virginity and all the awkwardness that ensues when you’re that age and at school…and everyone finds out. However, I think there’s a more a deeper level to come, here’ the official synopsis:
LOVE, ROSIE centres on Rosie and her best friend Alex who take a leap of faith, both on life and on each other, when they decide to go to the US together to attend university. But fate has other plans for Rosie. Over the next 12 years their lives change dramatically but the connection remains.
Check out the teasers below, no pun intended, and those rather impressively to to the point ‘His’ and ‘Her’ posters. Clafin and Collins are two of the best rising stars out there, so this looks like the right concoction for #LoveRosie:
LOVE, ROSIE is directed by Christian Ditter, with the screenplay by Juliette Towhidi. It and stars star Sam Claflin, Lily Collins, Tamsin Egerton, Christian Cooke, Jamie Winstone & Art Packinson and is scheduled to arrive in UK cinemas October 2014.
