You may recall our feature earlier this month that encouraged you to get involved with an amazing GODZILLA fan-art competition, well, the entries are in and the glorious winner has been chosen – we love this one quite a lot as well.
Congratulations to Laurie Greasley, who has been confirmed today as the winner! The competition, which was a collaboration between IMAX, Warner Bros UK, Imagine Publishing and ODEON Cinemas, challenged fans to create a unique, epic and larger-than-life Godzilla poster. Posters of Laurie’s winning creation will be displayed in ODEON Cinemas throughout the UK from the beginning of May.
The competition which was open to UK residents only, was judged by the director, Gareth Edwards himself, with Laurie Greasley’s inspiring and imaginative artwork deemed to have best captured the true essence of the upcoming movie, which arrives in IMAX® 3D cinemas on May 15 throughout the UK.
