The DRINKING BUDDIES director has just finished wrapping up his new film which reunites him with Anna Kendrick and Jake Johnson. With a fantastic ensemble cast including Sam Rockwell, Orlando Bloom and Brie Larson playing smaller parts, this is something to look forward to.
Veteran indie film-maker Swanberg is no stranger to working with PITCH PERFECT star Kendrick, most recently she starred in indie comedy HAPPY CHRISTMAS alongside him and GIRLS star Lena Dunham. Swanberg has quite the impressive indie back catalogue including fan favourite V/H/S and the rather stylish ALL THE LIGHT IN THE SKY starring Jane Adams.
BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD cinematographer Ben Richardson is also no stranger to working with Swanberg, choosing to shoot this film on 35mm. Richardson is also working on the hugely anticipated THE FAULT IN OUR STARS which is released towards the end of June.
As of publishing the plot of the film has been kept under wraps, but with a cast like that, it has to be something pretty special.
