We can’t tell you how excited we are for the release of THE FAULT IN OUR STARS in a few weeks time. All the details released so far, including images, posters, trailers and soundtrack details have heightened our excitement and now we’re being treated to behind the scenes footage as author John Green spends some time on the set.
Despite the devastating subject matter of the film – and if you haven’t read the book yet we challenge you not to cry at some of the scenes – it looks as though the cast and crew had a huge amount of fun on set and we’re hoping that will translate onto the screen for an uplifting movie.
Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort star as Hazel and Gus, two teenagers who meet – and fall in love – at a cancer support group. As their relationship sees its ups and downs, there’s no denying that the pair are made for each other…but is life that kind? The film also stars Willem Dafoe, Nat Wolff, Laura Dern, Sam Trammell, Mike Birbiglia, and Emily Peachey.
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS is released in the UK on 20th June, just don’t forget the tissues when you go and see it- we’re seriously considering going alone to avoid the embarrassing crying situation. Here’s the behind the scenes footage released today:
