Trailer For ‘The Salvation’ Starring Mads Mikkelsen and Eva Green

The first trailer for THE SALVATION has been released online. The new western drama features Hannibal’s Mads Mikkelsen and the gorgeous Eva Green.

The trailer feels a little disconnected with the intense choice of music and leisurely pace of dramatic clips. The intensity of the trailer definitely sparks interest, which is mostly thanks to the talent it features. Mikkelsen delivers a riveting performance each week in Hannibal and Green always exudes a strong onscreen presence. Other stars featured in the trailer include; Michael Raymond- James, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and football legend Eric Cantona.

The film focuses on a Danish immigrant, John, (Mads Mikkelsen) trying to build a life in 1870s America. The film follows his journey as his family is savagely murdered and he searches for revenge, his quest for revenge prompts retaliation from the friends and families of his enemies.
