He’s not been a stranger to his support and admiration for Bobby Kennedy and it appears that Matt Damon would still like to get that biopic out there, and be a part of the project. There’s been a few in the rumour pipeline but Damon has always wanted to ‘wait on the script’ after previously being attached to Steven Knight’s adaptation of the Kennedy book His Life back in 2010.

Tomorrow night on CNBC, Damon talks about his incredible humanitarian work with Water.org, his career and more. The Kennedy story came back to life when asked which role he’d still like to take on, he replied:

“If they could figure out a way to do Bobby Kennedy, I would love to do that. I just love that guy, and the incredible things he was saying at the end of his life. He’s a really interesting figure but it’s just so hard to do those biopics without them being cumbersome. It’s very difficult to [put his story] into two hours.”

He also spoke of his desire to take on some directing, like his good friend Ben Affleck, but is more eager to keep on being a family man, keep on acting and also help with the great cause that is Water.org. He also speaks of yesterday’s breaking news that he’d love to take on Bourne again – as long as it’s with Greengrass.
