Brand New Trailer For ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’

Apes

RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES was 2011’s surprise hit that went on to gross a staggering $480 Million worldwide, which is even more surprising when you consider the poor reception of Tim Burton’s 2001 remake.

After Andy Serkis wowed audiences with his portrayal of the sympathetic ape ‘Caesar’ in the first instalment, it was welcome news to hear that the KING KONG star would be returning for the highly anticipated sequel. Now after an extremely long three year wait, DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES is almost upon us, and 20th Century Fox have just released the mind-blowing second trailer for the film. So what are you waiting for? check out the brand new trailer for some exciting post-apocalyptic ape action below!

After frequent teasing from Fox, it’s great to finally see some more footage from the film to get an idea of what the finished product may turn out like. With a third film already green-lit for 2016, it would appear that the mammoth movie studio are extremely confident with DAWN OF THE PLENT OF THE APES, and from the look of this trailer it’s easy to see why. Matt Reeves has clearly maintained the emotional and grounded approach taken by Rupert Wyatt in the original film, with the humans once again portrayed as the antagonists rather than the apes. It will also be great to see heavyweight actors Jason Clarke and Gary Oldman, relish in their roles as traumatised human survivors of a viral apocalypse, with clearly conflicting views.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES will be released In the UK on 17th July. The film stars Andy Serkis, Gary Oldman, Judy Greer, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and Kodi Smit-McPhee.
