One of the films from this year’s Cannes Film Festival that I am most intrigued about is Bennett Miller’s (MONEYBALL, CAPOTE) real life drama FOXCATCHER which stars Steve Carell as John Du Pont as well as Channing Tatum and Mark Ruffalo as the famous amateur wrestling brothers, Mark & David Schultz in a story culminating with murder. Now we have a clip from the film and Carell looks to have nailed a role which some people have already speculated could make him end up as a heavy contender for the next awards season. Judge for yourselves below and let us know what you guys think.
FOXCATCHER is directed by Bennett Miller. It stars Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo, Sienna Miller & Vanessa Redgrave. The film will get a cinematic release in the US on 14th November, while it is still to get a UK release date.
