Those too young for porn or who just want added boobs when it comes to their anime may wish to check out High School DxD, a sexually charged show which is very reliant on its boob and nudity related humour. Anime such as this are obviously produced for a select market, with the large bosomed female characters acting as fan service for a male crowd.
The plot sees a young pervert virgin, obsessed with sex and nudity, who becomes involved in a war between angels and demons. Only here, the demons are actually the good guys. Lead character Issei (Kaji/Freeman) is a hard character to like, with his constant talk of masturbation, tits, and girls in general. There is sadly nothing else to this character, nor his friends, and the show doesn’t add much to his personality. In fact, the only reason it seems to evolve him into a hero is to justify his perverted ways. Sure, most teenage boys are sex obsessed, but this borders on dangerous behaviour at points.
The female characters are all strong and powerful, but are essentially used for T&A. Credit where credit is due though, if there was a Best Animated Breasts award at any animation award ceremony, then High School DXD may very well clinch it. The boobs have had more attention paid to them than anything else on screen and have more movement and fluidity than even the complex action sequences.
Although not terrible, High School DxD is a one track show with very little to offer. Even the tit related titters fail as the show begins to take itself seriously. Dark and deep concepts of religion and death begin to creep in, just before the animators bounce some boobs around during supposedly emotionally charged action sequences. This is the equivalent of humorously sized fake boobs, in some respects you can’t look away, but there’s a greater sense of pity than attraction.
