We may have seen Breaking Bad’s meth baron Walter White facing the music at the end of the hit TV series, but actor Bryan Cranston has been teasing fans with his character’s potential resurrection.
In an interview with CNN, Cranston admitted that he didn’t know if Walt was dead, saying:
“You never saw bags zip up or anything.”
Whist this certainly sounds appealing, we’re pretty sure Cranston is just messing with us. I mean, where could Walt even go now? Assuming he survived of course. After five seasons, Heisenberg’s story definitely felt done. And we all know it’s best to leave a series on a high instead of dragging it out (Dexter anyone?).
Still, we’ve got spin-off Better Call Saul starting this autumn, a prequel that follows the exploits of dodgy lawyer Saul (Bob Odenkirk) before meeting Walt. And when asked if there might ever be another serving of Breaking Bad, Cranston said, “Never say never.”
