Famous Movie ‘House’ Sells For Bargain Price Of $1.06 Million!

One of the most iconic, and indeed unique movie ‘houses’ has sold at a US auction for a bargain price of $1.06 million. The property on the outskirts of Chicago, lovingly known as the Ferrari house in the classic 1980s comedy FERRIS BUELLER’S DAY OFF, sold for the knock-down price after being advertised at over double the price five years previous.

The house was listed for $2.3 million in 2009, but failed to shift, so its owners dropped the ask over the following years until it sold for the bargain price this month.

The 4,300 square foot property boasts interior parking for four cars and was built in 1953, thirty years before Ferris’s best friend Cameron and family moved in.
