August cannot come soon enough! Marvel Studios have debuted two character posters for eagerly anticipated GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. The first poster features Vin Diesel’s Groot and Bradley Cooper’s Rocket caught in the action, while the second features the striking Gamora showing off a devilish smile played by Zoe Saldana.
The epic space adventure follows Peter Quill who is caught stealing a mysterious orb which is coveted by powerful villain, Ronan. Ronan’s persistence to retrieve the orb and ambitions to threaten the entire universe drives Peter to form an uneasy truce with a band of misfits. The ragtag clan consisting of Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer.
Directed by James Gunn and starring Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Benicio Del Toro, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Peter Serafinowicz, Michael Rooker, and Glenn Close. The film is set to be released 31st of July in UK theatres and 1st August in the US.
