Rumours are still coming in from a galaxy far, far away, with word that TWILIGHT star Robert Pattinson is being tapped to play a younger version of the infamous smuggler Han Solo in an upcoming STAR WARS spin-off.
While whispers have been circulating that Pattinson was due to take over the role of Indiana Jones, it turns out it’s another Lucasfilm-related Harrison Ford character he may actually come to play.
An anonymous source told HollywoodLife.com:
‘Everyone has been talking about the possibility that Rob will be the new Indiana Jones, but that is not going to happen. What has been talked about is a standalone Han Solo film, younger Han Solo before everything that happened in STAR WARS and the person who is on the high list to get the part is Robert Pattinson.’
This is probably not the news most STAR WARS fans want to hear, but given that Pattinson’s work outside of TWILIGHT has actually been pretty decent, we’re willing to give him a chance on this one. As the actor’s rabid fans will surely tell you, he’s also a pretty big STAR WARS fan himself, so would at least treat the role with the respect it deserves.

Let’s hope this stays a rumor: surely they can find a better Solo lookalike, as Pattinson doesn’t even remotely hold any kind of resemblance to Ford. Also, I don’t picture him doing the trademark voice and faces of his elder. Not one bit.

Is there anything this person Rputz is not rumoured to do? At this rate every movie to come to the screen will star the Rputz. How boring! I’m sure he thinks he is good enough for those parts, with the size of his EGO, but Harrison Ford he is not
