Is there anything better in this world than Tom Hardy? How about TWO?
Yes, Hardy’s latest flick LEGEND has started shooting, and Working Title have been ever so kind to release the first image of Hardy as both Ronnie and Reggie Kray. The film, written and directed by LA CONFIDENTIAL’s Brian Helgeland, is an adaptation of John Pearson’s The Profession Of Violence, and focuses on the rise and fall of the twins in the 1950s and 1960s. The film also co-stars Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Christopher Eccleston, Taron Egerton, Tara Fitzgerald and Chazz Palminteri.
Of course this isn’t the first time The Kray Twins have been tackled on screen, Gary and Martin Kemp played the London gangsters back in 1990 (Yes, it doesn’t sound good on paper but it’s actually pretty decent!)
LEGEND is currently filming in the UK, but has no release date as of yet. At least we have this image to hold us until then eh?
