Intense, Intelligent UK Trailer For ‘Before I Go To Sleep’ Starring Nicole Kidman & Colin Firth

1$_AW_[27366] Before I Go To Sleep

Nicole Kidman has found herself in the middle of success more recently but BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP sees her return to a British setting which, for me, takes me back to BIRTHDAY GIRL and in a really interesting way. Obviously, this one is slightly different to that but she’ll co-star with Colin Firth, Mark Strong and the excellent Anne-Marie Duff so I’ve got a lot of hope for the final product.

Based on the novel by S.J. Bolton, Rowan Joffe directs and had also adapted the book for the big screen. Joffe’s best success so far has come from 28 WEEKS LATER and also the slightly undervalued THE AMERICAN starring George Clooney. In this psychological thriller BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP, Kidman plays Christine Lucas, a woman who wakes up every day remembering nothing – the result of a traumatic accident in her past – until one day, new terrifying truths emerge that force her to question everyone around her.

Initially, it looks a little shaky but quickly focuses to hopefully an intelligent and interesting thriller with some absolute top acting talent throughout. Click here for the first poster, you’ll see the new one above and here’s that trailer:

BEFORE I GO TO SLEEP opens in the UK on 5th September, 2014.
