Happy 4th July! Here’s An Independence Day Themed Spot For ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’

We’ve still not seen DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES here at THN Towers, but that will all be corrected next week when we finally get to feast our eyes on the Matt Reeves directed sequel. Just over a week out from release and Fox are turning up the heat on their promotional campaign for the movie, and here’s a really rather good TV spot to tie in with the 4th of July.

A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.

Andy Serkis leads as Caesar with a supporting cast made up of Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Keri Russell and Toby Kebbell. The film opens on July 11th.
